This paper examines the significance of clinically elevated scores on Scale 6 (and RC6) in parents undergoing CCE's, with consideration of both contextual and psychometric features. Studies of parents who completed the MMPI-2 in the CCE context have consistently found that, on average, parents portray a very favorable image of themselves as both virtuous and psychologically well-adjusted.
